Pre-Dance 1List Item 4
- Requirements – NONE (Age 2.5-5)
- Class Objective – Learn basic ballet vocabulary, poses, and posture, as well as simple jazz and tap skills, and basic coordination skills such as hopping on one foot, skipping, balancing and walking on toes. Students will also practice working together and taking turns.
- Focus – Class will start with tap, the second half of class will be a mix of jazz and ballet, we will work on rhythm, coordination, strength, and very basic skills

Pre-Dance 2List Item 3
- Requirements – We strongly recommend your child take pre-dance 1 prior to this class (Age 4-6)
- Class Objective – Learn advanced ballet vocabulary, perfect basic skills learned in pre-dance 1 in order to gain confidence, strength, and flexibility.
- Focus –Class will start with tap, we will be improving on and combining some of the basic tap skills learned in pre-dance 1. The second half of the class will be a mix of jazz and ballet, working on strength and flexibility necessary to correctly execute turns, leaps, jumps, and foot work though warm-up/stretching, and work in the center

- Class Objective – Become familiar with proper posture and arm placements, learn basic body positions and ballet vocabulary
- Focus – Basic Ballet vocabulary, poses, and posture will be the main focus, along with basic acting skills and gestures needed to tell a story though dance

Ballet 1List Item 2
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-8)
- Class Objective – Posture and correct body placement will be improved with the introduction of barre work, combinations at the barre and in the center of the floor.
- Focus – A steady progression of technical skills with added vocabulary and basic Ballet poses will be the core of this class, along with basic acting skills and gestures needed to tell a story though dance

Ballet 2
- Requirements – (Age 7-10) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Posture and correct body placement will improve through barre and work in the center, gain turnout, strength and flexibility, as well as verbally review ballet vocab weekly
- Focus – A steady progression of technical skills with added vocabulary and basic Ballet poses will be the core of this class, along with basic acting skills and gestures needed to tell a story though dance

Ballet 3
- Requirements – (Age 9-14) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Perfect basic skills and poses, posture and correct body placement will improve through barre and work in the center, gain turnout, strength and flexibility
- Focus – This class will quickly review and verbally test Ballet terminology in the first part of the year. Then, will progress quickly with longer combinations and more work in the center and across the floor

Ballet 4
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – This class will be both physically and mentally demanding, with a substantial improvement in both technique and performance quality.
- Focus – Since this is our highest level of Ballet, students are expected to know Ballet vocabulary, terminology, and have grasp on technical application

Jazz 1
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-9)
- Class Objective – Work on strength and flexibility necessary to correctly execute turns, leaps, jumps, and foot work though warm-up/stretching with moderate conditioning
- Focus – The first few weeks of class will include lots of stretching to gain flexibility, and progressions across the floor in order to build a basic skill set. Combinations in the center will start once the students have some familiarity with basic Jazz skills

Jazz 2
- Requirements – (Age 8 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Work on strength and flexibility necessary to correctly execute turns, leaps, jumps, and foot work though warm-up/stretching with moderate conditioning
- Focus – The first few weeks will review basic Jazz technique, then will begin to progress more quickly, moving on to more advanced skills and more intricate combinations

Jazz 3
- Requirements – (Age 10 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Advance strength, flexibility, and basic skills such as turns, leaps, jumps and floor/foot work
- Focus – We will be building on the basics with a variety of Jazz dance styles and combinations, along with essential conditioning, progressions, and dance combinations to help our students reach their full potential in this fast-paced high energy style of dance

Jazz 4
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Advance strength, flexibility, and basic skills such as turns, leaps, jumps and floor/foot work
- Focus – We will be building on the basics with a variety of Jazz dance styles and combinations, along with essential conditioning, progressions, and dance combinations to help our students reach their full potential in this fast-paced high energy style of dance

Beginning Pointe
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- (Some students may remain in this class for 2 or more years in order to ensure safety and healthy progress)
- Class Objective – Improve on existing ballet skills and technique, alongside increased strength and poise.
- Focus – The first few weeks will be spent at the Ballet barre, to build strength, balance, and confidence, followed by work in the center and across the floor

Advanced Pointe
- Requirements – (Age 14 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Improve on existing ballet skills and technique, alongside increased strength and poise.
- Focus – This class will move quickly from the barre to the center starting the first week, we will work on perfecting basic steps while moving on to a more advanced skill set

Tap 1
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-8)
- Class Objective – Groundwork in rhythm and musicality as well as basic tap skills
- Focus – This class is for the first time Tap dancer. Students will learn all the basic steps needed to grow as little tappers

Tap 2
- Requirements – (Age 8-12) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Perfect basic skills, further advance rhythm and musicality
- Focus – This class is for tappers with 1-2 years of experience in Tap class. Basic steps will be reviewed and perfected in the first part of the year followed by an assortment of challenging routines and rhythm-based choreography

Tap 3
- Requirements – (Age 8-14) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Perfect and build on basic skills, as well as learn new more challenging skills and new more challenging rhythm and moves
- Focus – This class is for tappers with 2 or more years of experience in Tap class. Basic steps will be reviewed and perfected in the first part of the year. Rhythm and musicality will begin to advance as the year goes on, with more challenges in the second half of the year

Tap 4
- Requirements – (Age 12-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Advanced rhythm and musicality with a focus on speed in skills
- Focus – This class is for tappers with 3 or more years of experience. Advanced skills will be perfected throughout the year, with a strong focus on high energy routines

Lyrical 1
- Requirements – (Age 7 and up) One year of lyrical, ballet or jazz recommended
- Class Objective – Develop traditional ballet and jazz skills and technique, as well as gaining flexibility, control, elegance, and presence of mind
- Focus – Learn basic technical skills from jazz and ballet and expand their ability to show emotion and tell a story through a dance performance

Lyrical 2
- Requirements – (Age 9 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Two years of lyrical, ballet or jazz recommended
- Class Objective – Develop traditional ballet and jazz skills and technique, as well as gaining flexibility, control, elegance, and presence of mind
- Focus – Learn basic technical skills from jazz and ballet and expand their ability to show emotion and tell a story through a dance performance

Lyrical 3
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Develop traditional ballet and jazz skills and technique, as well as gaining flexibility, control, elegance, and presence of mind
- Focus – Floor combinations (choreography) that will allow the dancers to express themselves emotionally through technique will be the main focus of this class

Lyrical 4
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Develop traditional ballet and jazz skills and technique, as well as gaining flexibility, control, elegance, and presence of mind
- Focus – The main aspects of this class will include emotional expression, self-expression, strong technique, and flexibility. Students will advance the ability to learn choreography quickly and apply technique as needed

Beginning Hip-Hop
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-10)
- Class Objective – This class is a great opportunity for your young child to burn energy and build musicality with a high-energy style of dance with fun movements and trendy music.
- Focus – Allowing students to come out of their shell and have some fun! Musicality will be improved, with age appropriate moves and music

Intermediate Hip-Hop
- Requirements – (Age 8-14) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Learn fun new choreography to improve coordination, musicality, performance quality, and confidence.
- Focus – Allowing students to come out of their shell and have some fun! Musicality will be improved, with age appropriate moves and music

Advanced Hip-Hop
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Learn more challenging choreography to help students improve coordination, musicality, performance quality, and confidence.
- Focus – This street/pop dance class will move quickly though combinations, so students must have an accelerated ability to pick up choreography. Hip-Hop requires a high level of coordination and demands personality and high energy fun in every performance

Contemporary
- Requirements – (Age 10 and up)
- Class Objective – Improving foot work, coordination, stretching, musicality, and concentration
- Focus – Modern dance is a style and technique that explores the use of weight, release of energy, fall of recovery, and musicality

Advanced Jumps and Turns
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Increase flexibility, strength, and balance, need to improve, jumps, leaps and turns
- Focus – Improving execution of turns, turn sequences, leaps, and jumps, and a combination of technical skills

Dance Team Technique
- Requirements – (Age 12 and up) COMPETITION DANCE TEAM MEMBERS ONLY
- Class Objective – Increase flexibility, strength, and skill set, as well as learning choreography relative to competition dance
- Focus – Improve execution of turns, turn sequences, leaps and jumps, incorporating new skills into choreography, along with leaning how to tell a story though dance

Musical Theater 1
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-8)
- Class Objective – To have fun and practice stage presence and musicality
- Focus – Learn basic acting skills through age appropriate games. Start basic dance technique, good posture, pointed feet and straight leg, turns, and basic jazz skills

Musical Theater 2
- Requirements – (Age 7-12) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – To have a high energy class with exercises intended on bringing students out of their shell and promote self-confidence
- Focus – Practice basic acting skills and musicality through age appropriate games with a stronger focus on jazz technique

Musical Theater 3
- Requirements – (Age 9-14) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Further acting skills as well as practice in jazz technique. Students will also learn to use their dance skills to tell a story with their face and musicality
- Focus – Building confidence in the classroom through acting and roll playing that will shine on and off the stage

Musical Theater 4
- Requirements – (Age 12-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Advance confidence through acting and perfect jazz technique with a higher level of skills
- Focus – Learning fun and exciting routines that blend acting and jazz, with a focus on high energy Broadway style choreography

Pre-Cheer
- Requirements – NONE (Age 3-5)
- Class Objective – Learn and develop the basics of beginner level motions, straight/tuck jumps, and proper form and technique for stunts (basing and flying).
- Focus – Simple motion execution, drills and skills for jump technique, proper body positioning for stunting, basic tumbling skills such as: forward/backward roll, cartwheels and round-offs.

Beginning Recreational Cheer (Cheer 1)
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-12)
- Class Objective – Increase flexibility, motion and jump technique as well as stunting abilities and overall coordination to prepare child for Intermediate Rec Cheer or Cheer 2.
- Focus – Intermediate motion execution, body positions in jumps, waist level and below stunting, drills and skills for pre-level stunts (below the neck) and front /back walkovers

Intermediate Recreational Cheer
- Requirements – (Age 8-14) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Review of all motions, jumps, and stunt technique to prepare child for more advanced and fast paced Advanced recreational Cheer.
- Focus – This class will focus around two leg and one leg prep level stunts (below the neck) while also learning the purpose and importance of every person’s position in stunts. Safety and technique will be strongly emphasized in this class. Tumbling will include front/back walkovers as well as the beginning stages of the back handspring will be taught

Advanced Recreational Cheer
- Requirements – (Age 10-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Continuation of advanced motion, jumps, tumbling, stunting and safety techniques.
- Focus – Strength conditioning to prepare child for extended stunts, combination jump sequences, tumbling out of jump sequences and importance of safety. Tumbling will include back handspring drills and skills as well as combination passes

Tumbling Turtles
- Requirements – NONE (Age 18 months - 3 years)
- Class Objective – Develop motor skills, hand-eye coordination, muscle memory, and body control
- Focus – Basic motor skills and coordination, body position and stretching, form and proper technique for: forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels

Pre-Tumbling
- Requirements – NONE (Age 3-5)
- Class Objective – Increase motor skills, muscle memory, and body control while advancing technique and execution of child’s skills
- Focus – Bridges, cartwheels, beginning elements of handstands and round-offs

Tumbling 1
- Requirements – NONE (Age 5-12)
- Class Objective – Increase flexibility, upper body strength, and overall coordination
- Focus – Forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, bridge kick overs, cartwheels, round-offs

Advanced Tumbling 1
- Requirements – (Age 7-12) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED
- Class Objective – Work on technique of tumbling level 1 skills and prepare child for back handsprings
- Focus – Front walkovers, back walkovers, back handsprings with a spot

Tumbling 2
- Requirements – (Age 8-16) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Must be able to perform solid level 1 skills without a spot. (Handstands, cartwheels, round-offs and front/back walkovers)
- Class Objective – Reinforce Level 1 skills and technique while learning and perfecting the back handspring and round-off back handspring
- Focus – Advanced front and back walk over technique, standing back handspring, round-off back handspring

Advanced Tumbling 2
- Requirements – (Age 10-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Must be able to perform a standing and/or round-off back handspring without a spot
- Class Objective – Reinforce technique involved with standing and round-off back handsprings. This class is for the student who needs a refresher of level 2 skills or is not quite ready for tucking skills.
- Focus – Advanced focus on standing and round-off back handspring series technique and execution, back walkover back handspring, front walkover round-off back handspring, round-off back handspring step-out round-off back handspring. Drills and skills with mats and spotting systems will introduce child to tucks. Drills and skills will be taught to prepare child for level 3 skills such as punch fronts, back tucks and combination passes

Tumbling 3
- Requirements – (Age 10-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Must be able to perform a standing back handspring series (2 or more), multiple jumps connected to back handspring series (2 or more), round-off back tuck and round off multiple back handspring series without a spot.
- Class Objective – Reinforce Level 2 skills and technique while learning and perfecting specialty passes
- Focus – Advanced standing round-off back handspring series technique, back and front tucks, back handspring series to tuck, layouts, whips and specialty passes. Once child has mastered the layout they will be introduced to drills and skills for twisting

Advanced Tumbling 3
- Requirements – (Age 10-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Must have round-off tuck, round-off back handspring tuck and aerial
- Class Objective – Reinforce level 3 skills and technique while working while perfecting more advanced skills
- Focus – Advanced focus on level 3 skills and specialty passes. Concentration on punch front forward rolls, round-off back handspring tuck, front walkover round-off back handspring back tuck and round-off back handspring step out round-off back handspring back tuck

- Class Objective – Reinforce level 3 skills and technique while perfecting and building on level 4 skills
- Focus – Advanced focus on level 4 skills while building skills to advance to level 5 such as standing back tuck,
standing back handspring back tuck or lay-out, standing back handspring back tuck back handspring back tuck and cartwheel back tuck

- Requirements – (Age 10-18) INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL REQUIRED Must have standing back tuck, jump connected to back handspring back tuck or lay-out
- Class Objective – Reinforce level 4 skills and technique while perfecting and building on level 5 skills
- Focus – Build on level 4 skills and technique while perfecting level 5 skills. Students will work level 5 specialty passes like standing full, standing back handsprings to full twist, cartwheel full, round-off back handspring full, punch front round-off back handspring full or double full
